Top 10 most livable cities on the Chinese mainland in 2015
ECA, an agency focusing on the development and provision of solutions for the management and assignment of employees around the world, recently launched a global livability index report.
Hong Kong still ranks highly as a place for Asian expats, but has fallen to 33rd place in the global ranking, further widening the gap between Singapore, which is ranked number one globally as well as in Asia for its good air quality, solid infrastructure, decent medical facilities, low crime and low health risks.
According to the report, Chinese cities have risen in the ranking in recent years as factors including housing, goods and services, recreation and healthcare have improved. However, this has been tempered by problems associated with factors including pollution and food safety.
